Dining measures 10×14 with Valspar Belle Grove light amber. Baseboard, door frame, china cabinet is gumwood. The moulding is a bright white and it does not blend with the wall.

In general, painted trim should all be the same color. What effect are you going for? It you want the crown to stand out, paint it white. If you want it to blend in, paint it the same as the wall or a shade or two up the color scale from the wall, but in a satin or semi-gloss finish. Painting options are a matter of personal taste. I like white or stained trim, but many do not. Hope this helps.
