Hey folks,
I plan to install Crown Moulding in my 1910 New England Colonial. I’d like to use similar materials as the rest of the house, however was surprised when I went to home depot and lowes and found that none of their crown moulding was made of wood?!?! It was either vinyl/pvc, or some other material that I couldn’t identify.
They had some trim and casings made of wood, but not Crown Moulding.
Can you no longer find Crown Moulding made of wood?
Thanks!

I want to add crown moulding accents to a few rooms in my home but can’t seem to find a reputable company or person to do the job. I want someone who is affordable but can still get the job done quickly. Anyone have any good recommendations?

I have a small condo (540 sq. feet) that I’d like to install crown moulding in. However I can’t find even a rough ballpark estimate for this anywhere online. I can find costs for raw materials, but since I lack the right tools I’ll need to hire someone to do the labor (with the exception of painting which I would do myself. I just want to get a sense for whether it would be in the hundreds or thousands…

I am interested in adding some detail in my home. I like the look of crown moulding. is this good for all rooms or should i just keep it in the living room? also, the doorways in all rooms have no trim, should i also put moulding on these too?

I recently installed crown moulding in a bedroom and used the Door & Window Clear Caulk by mistake. Do you think I could apply Painters White Caulk over the existing Door & Window Clear Caulk and all will be ok as far as getting a clean line?
It is paintable. Thanks for all of your help.

We’re doing some cosmetic work on a small bathroom, (started out just painting the walls, now it’s become a HUGE project!) We’ve decided that now we’re into it, we’d like to install crown moulding, but never having done it before would like to know – Do we paint the trim first and then install? Or vice- versa?
